Candidate Speech Form

Please note:
You are submitting two items - A 3 minute speech/skit for Monday and a 1 1/2 minute speech for Tuesday.  
Your Monday speech may be presented as a skit (see below).  
Your Tuesday speech is simply that....a speech.  

Submit both speeches with this form.  DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM TWICE - it causes confusion.

• All candidates must meet with SCISSA Officials at 11:00 in the ballroom.

• Skits, music, costumes and props may be used on Monday. Nothing may be thrown.  Only the prepared 1& 1/2 minute speech may be given on Tuesday (NO SKITS ON TUESDAY)

• Skits can have a maximum of 6 participants, including the candidate.

• A three-minute speech/presentation WILL be allowed on Monday.

• NO VIDEOS or electronic media presentations allowed.

• Speeches exceeding time limits will be gaveled down.

• A copy of all speeches and an outline of all skits must be submitted via this form by Friday, February 27th!

• The speech you submit is the one you are expected to give.

• Any significant deviation from this approved speech/Skit will result in disqualification. • Your speeches and all campaign materials MUST be in good taste.

• DO NOT include any “off-color”, sexual references, or any inappropriate words or phrases. THE USE OF SUCH WILL DISQUALIFY THE CANDIDATE.
